  • A bar of brown laundry soap 72%;
  • Half a cup of silicate glue;
  • Half a cup of soda ash (sold at hardware stores);

This procedure can only be carried out in a well-ventilated area.

The instructions for descaling a cast iron pan are simple:

  • We put water and wait until it boils;
  • Three soap on a grater or in advance we give to become sour in water;
  • Pour soap into boiling water and mix thoroughly;
  • Add glue and soda ash;
  • We lower the pan into the solution (if there is a plastic or wooden handle - remove it);
  • Periodically warming up the solution, give the sag to sour for 5-6 hours;

Method number 1. How to clean the pan with vinegar, soda and salt? Everything is simple - put the pan on the stove and heat it. Pour 2 tablespoons of salt and heat for 5 minutes, add vinegar (to cover the bottom of the pan completely), and let the vinegar boil. It is important that the room is well ventilated. After boiling vinegar, add a spoonful of soda and put on a quiet fire. Keep the mixture on fire for 3 minutes and remove. While the hot pan is spreading the mixture throughout the pan outside and inside, let it cool slightly and clean with a regular brush.

Method number 2. How to clean a pan with activated carbon? This method is even simpler and more affordable! We grind the package of activated carbon (10 black tablets), and while grinding is in progress, we heat the pan and add half a glass of water, which should boil. After that we send the coal to the pan and let it brew for an hour. Then wash with a washcloth, and then with a normal detergent.

Method number 3. How to clean a cast iron skillet with soda? This method is not only suitable for a cast iron pan, it is the only one suitable for cleaning ceramic coatings. So, you need a basin of water and a pack of soda. We wait until the basin with water boils, and send a packet of soda to it. We stir the soda and send it into the solution in a frying pan, but without a plastic or wooden handle (if not removed, just hold it on top). As soon as the salt darkens - pour a glass of ice water into a hot pan with salt and let it boil for 10 minutes or until the water has completely evaporated. Wash in the usual way.

Another popular method is how to clean the pan from carbon deposits using incandescent:

  • Heat the pan for 10 minutes;
  • Pour a mixture of soda and salt 1/1;
  • Stirring to glow for 30 minutes;
  • Pour and rinse with warm water, clean if necessary;
  • Return the pan to the stove and dry by heating;
  • Once it is dry - pour oil and spread in a pan with a thin layer;
  • As soon as the pan cools down a little - rub the pan with a cotton towel, taking away the excess oil, rubbing part of the oil into the pan itself;
  • Do not touch for 12 hours so that the oil “works” with the metal.

And in conclusion, another method of cleaning the pan, but not only from soot, but also rust. The method is suitable exclusively for pans with metal or removable handles.

We set the pan in the oven, heated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes. We get it and on both sides cover it with vegetable oil. And again, we put it in the oven for an hour, take it out, and remove everything that disappears with a scraper. The rest can be easily removed with a metal washcloth.
